Police seize seven guns used in Tebet robberies

Jakarta Police have seized seven illegal guns used in three recent jewelry store robberies in Pasar Bukit Duri traditional market in Tebet, South Jakarta.

The city police chief Insp. Gen. Timur Pradopo said two were regular handguns while the remaining five were assembled ones.

“We are still investigating the ownership of the guns,” Timur said Tuesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

The police also confiscated 10 kilograms of stolen gold jewelry and detained 11 alleged burglars.
